Cave Diving
Pure fascination
Cave diving is one of the most fascinating specialities in diving – and one where serious, professional training and guidance are vital! Here in Mallorca the caves are protected, as many of them contain stalagmites and stalactites that are millions of years old. That’s why we offer training and guided dives in sidemount configuration, which lets us best protect the formations – especially the stalactites hanging from the ceiling. Many of our caves also have only small entrances, so we recommend the combination of Sidemount, Cavern and Cave Diver, either as a course with us or as certifications you bring along. We of course also offer guided dives and Full Cave Diver training.
SCD-HT1 Cavern / daylight zone
Start your training in the daylight zone of a cavern. Learn step by step what it means to be a cave diver and the responsibility that comes with this qualification. Solid training and open-water experience are required.
SCD-HT2 Cave / zone of permanent darkness
Darkness is your friend and a total light failure makes you relax? Then we’ll gladly teach you how to find your way safely out of the cave in exactly that situation. Laying and repairing lines and placing jumps are also part of this course.
SCD-HT3 Full Cave / zone of permanent darkness, beyond sumps and restrictions
If your head fits through, does the rest of you? Among other things, we practise passing restrictions, handling stage cylinders and setting up cylinder depots. As a divemaster cave diver, you’ll also learn to lead.
Guided cave dives
We offer guided cave dives to match your level of training. As the caves are protected and permits have to be applied for, please get in touch in good time so we can arrange dates.
