Get to know the Mediterranean
Snorkelling
Looking for Nemo? You won’t find him in the Mediterranean – but you will find plenty of other marine life, such as cute little damselfish, colourful ornate wrasse, quirky wrasse, schools of bream and salema and, with a bit of luck, octopuses and barracuda. Lots of beautiful rock formations are home to a varied underwater world. Anemones, small corals and starfish can be found at many of our roughly 15 spots. One of our guides always comes along, and before we set off we of course explain the equipment. We take you by boat to spots that are hard to reach from land.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be a strong swimmer?
You should feel comfortable in the water. We’ll show you how to swim with fins, and the wetsuit gives you natural buoyancy. Children are welcome as soon as they can swim (from about 6 years).
Can I snorkel on my own, or just book a seat on the boat and go for a swim?
If there’s room on the boat, you can book a place as a ‘visitor on board’. Our boats are designed for activities and don’t offer any shade. For safety reasons, a guide is always in the water during our activities.
